The fastest growing automotive brand in Russia, Geely Auto, launched its flagship Geely Atlas SUV 1.8TD equipped with the leading Yandex Auto functionality in the Russian market on August 12th. The best-selling Geely Atlas (Bo Yue in China) offers a new intelligent mobility experience to Russian speaking markets through a smart cockpit system jointly developed by Geely’s strategically invested technology company, ECARX and Russian internet giant, Yandex.

Geely Auto’s (Geely) newest and most intelligent SUV to date, the Bo Yue PRO was fully unveiled to the public at a design seminar in Hangzhou. A week prior, at the launch of the GKUI19 Geely Smart Ecosystem and China’s first independently developed dedicated vehicle chipset, the E01, the Bo Yue PRO was announced to be Geely’s first model to receive the new hardware. The addition of the GKUI19 and E01 chipset has essentially put a “super brain” into the Bo Yue SUV. To match its enhanced intelligence, comprehensive improvements to the original Bo Yue SUV have been made including power and design.

Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (Group) announced that total sales volume of the Group (including the sales volume of LYNK & CO-branded vehicles sold by the Group’s 50%-owned joint venture) reached 651,680 units in the first six months of the year. In June, the Group sold 90,875 vehicles, an increase of 1% from the previous month. Of the total sales volume in June 2019, overseas exports reached 6,234 units. The sale of new energy vehicles reached 15,985 units in June 2019. The Group was first in cumulative sales in 2019 among Chinese brands and have completed 43% of its annual sales target of 1.51 million units. Exports in the first six months of the year reached 38,619 units, an increase of 343.95% from the same period last year. Cumulative sales of new energy vehicles reached 57,600 vehicles, an increase of 301.06% from the same period last year.

Geely invested subsidiary, ECARX, today officially announced the company’s new E-Series chipset at the launch of the GKUI19 and the global showcase of the Geely Bo Yue PRO, the first vehicle to use both GKUI19 and the E-Series chipset.
