• ZGH moves up 67 places to 410
• Fifth year in the Fortune 500 ranking

20 July 2016, Hangzhou, China. Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (ZGH) has been listed as a Fortune 500 company for the fifth year running and has advanced up the list 67 places to 410th place.

The Fortune 500 list, developed and maintained by Fortune Magazine, categorically ranks global companies based on their revenue for the respective fiscal years. Zhejiang Geely Holding Group first entered on to the Fortune 500 list in 2012 and has continued to be ranked over the past five years.

For the 2015 fiscal year, ZGH jumped from 477th place to 410th based on the groups strong 2015 sales which saw Geely Auto Group and Volvo Car Group sales jumped to over 510,000 units and 503,000 units respectively, the first time the group has had combined sales of over 1 million units.

In the first part of 2016, Geely Auto Group saw sales of 280,000 units, an increase of 11 per cent over the same period in 2015. Volvo Car Group’s sales rose by over ten per cent in the first half of 2016 to 256,563 units in the first half of 2016.
