Modern technologies, as well as high quality production and components, guarantee the trouble-free operation of Geely vehicles. Any malfunction or deterioration in consumer properties caused by manufacturing defects will be corrected under the terms of a guarantee within 5 years after purchase or within 150,000km of run.

Geely warrants to the first retail purchaser of each new Geely vehicle that the vehicle manufactured, assembled or distributed by it and delivered by an authorized Geely Dealer will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of:

Five (5) years or 150 000kms, whichever comes first.

Warranty is valid as from the issuance date of new vehicle purchase invoice.

In order to maintain your vehicle’s optimum performance and good technical condition, Follow the recommendations set out in the Car Operation Manual and Service book and you will be able to use your Geely vehicle as comfortably as possible. The manual will help you better understand and use your vehicle. It will provide you basic solutions for problems you may encounter.

Geely vehicles have excellent performance in terms of safety, comfort, power, and fuel-efficiency. In case you find any problem while using your vehicle, please contact a nearby Geely authorized service station. Geely service stations ensure high-quality maintenance, repair, and spare parts services. Please be sure to have your vehicle maintained periodically as indicated in the Owner’s Manual and maintenance regulations.

  • Within the complete vehicle warranty period, in case of any quality problem of the vehicle purchased by the customer, Geely is responsible for free inspection, repair or replacement.
  • Within the warranty period committed by Geely, customer shall use and maintain his vehicle in strict accordance with the provisions in Warranty and Owner’s Manual.
  • In case of any vehicle fault during use, only Geely service stations have the right to accept application for repair covered by warranty. Once a fault occurs, customer shall send the vehicle to a nearby service station for inspection, repair or contact the service station in time.
  • The start date of complete vehicle warranty period is subject to the issuance date of purchase invoice. Customer must present the purchase invoice to the Geely service station when asking for warranty service. Otherwise, the Geely service station cannot provide warranty service for the customer.
  • If the purchase invoice is lost, the customer shall apply to a dealer authorized by Geely for reissuance in time. Geely is irresponsible for the influence on warranty service timeliness due to the customer’s failure in applying for purchase invoice reissuance. After the purchase invoice is reissued, the customer can continue enjoying the warranty service provided by Geely.
  • Warranty service also covers replacing or maintaining damaged parts according to technical requirements. Geely and Geely service stations have right to make a decision on repairing or replacing parts according to actual situation.
  • The labor hours and material cost incurred during maintenance covered by warranty are borne by Geely.
  • The parts replaced during maintenance shall be owned by Geely.

Warranty Booklet
The details on Warranty booklet are designed to inform owners of warranty coverage and servicing requirements and to identify the owner and vehicle for warranty service at the time of the car purchase. The dealer must explain to the customer the content and use of the Warranty booklet and ensure that the customer understands the associated right and obligations.

Basic Warranty
Warranty period for all the parts of GEELY car, unless expressly specified, is 5 years from the sale date or 150,000 km of mileage, whichever comes first. Specifically stated parts include parts with specific performance properties, as well as the parts subject to natural wear.

Powertrain Limited Warranty
The Powertrain Limited Warranty period for defects in materials and workmanship in the powertrain components supplied by Geely for Non-commercial & Commercial vehicle is 60/12 months or 150,000/100,000km, whichever comes first.

Battery
Warranty period for the battery installed by the manufacturer is 12 months or 20,000km, whichever comes first.

Warranty of Parts
The genuine spare parts installed on the vehicle by Geely authorized service station enjoy the following warranty respectively:

Genuine spare parts: The parts that are provided by Geely or approved for use by Geely.

Genuine spare parts replaced at the customer’s expense
For the genuine spare parts replaced at the customer’s expense by Geely authorized service station, the warranty period is 1 year or 20,000km since the replacement date (as measured by the issuance date on the maintenance invoice); whichever comes first.

Genuine spare parts replaced by Geely for free
For the genuine spare parts replaced for free due to quality problem within the vehicle’s warranty period, the warranty period is 1 year or 20,000km as of the date of replacement (whichever comes first).

According to the principle of “Users’ interests first”, if the warranty period of the new genuine spare part is shorter than the residual warranty period of complete vehicle, the warranty period of this part will extend to the warranty period of complete vehicle.

Genuine spare parts replaced free of charge during a recall or service campaign (Field Fix)
while warranty period of the complete vehicle has expired the warranty period is 1 year or 20,000km as of the date of replacement (whichever comes first).

Genuine spare battery and tire replaced at the customer’s expense or replaced by Geely for free
The warranty period is 3 months or 5,000km as of the date of replacement (whichever comes first).

For the part replaced by Geely for free, if this part replaced is beyond the warranty period, the warranty of this part replaced again will terminate by the end of the warranty period of the part replaced by Geely for free.

Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal wear or aging. During normal operation process some components of the cars require attention and should be replaced when necessary by the authorized dealer during servicing. Such components are subjected to natural wear which occurs not due to the manufacturing defects or low-quality materials.

Natural wear is a normal deterioration of the workability of the part due to the normal operation or normal impact of the environment. The intensity of the wear and the service life of the part depends on the operation conditions (type of load, specific pressure value, temperature, driving modes, driving methods etc.) as well as the spare parts materials, assembly adjustment, timeliness and completeness of the maintenance works, observance of the rules and conditions of the car operation set out in User Manual and Geely Warranty Book.

The conditions are determined for the occurrence of natural wear during 3 months or 5,000 km from the date of the sale to the first owner, whichever comes first.

Where can I take my vehicle for repairs?
Geely allows you to get your repairs done within a nearby Geely authorized service station. So, you can get your repairs done from these authorized dealers anywhere in the nation. With each mile you cover, we’ve got you covered.

Can I modify my vehicle or add accessories not authorized by Geely?
Any part damaged due to the modification, adjustment, or removal performed by the customer regardless of the warning that “the part shall not be modified, adjusted or removed” in using instruction or the warranty manual shall void the vehicle warranty.
We remind you that any personal vehicle modification may affect its mechanical and safety performance or service life. Geely will not be responsible for any quality problem caused by unauthorized modification.

My vehicle has missed a scheduled service. Will this be a problem in relation to my Warranty?
The owner is responsible for the proper maintenance of the vehicle. Please follow the recommended service intervals as outlined in your vehicle’s warranty booklet. Your Geely warranty does not cover damage caused by inadequate maintenance.

If I used a different brand of engine oil with the same viscosity, will this impact my warranty?
Geely strongly recommends to use Geely-approved fluids and lubricants to maintain good vehicle conditions so that the recommended service intervals can be applied. Only use a prescribed grade of oil for both filling and oil change, otherwise, there is a risk of the service life, starting characteristics, fuel consumption and environmental impact of the car is affected.

If engine oil of the prescribed grade and viscosity is not used, engine-related components may become damaged.

Geely disclaims any liability for any such damage.

Geely recommends that oil changes are carried out at an authorized Geely workshop.

I have a concern with my vehicle and would like to know whether it will be covered under warranty.
In case you find any problem while using your vehicle, please contact a nearby Geely authorized service station. Firstly, you should have your concern investigated by an Authorised Geely dealer, they will first diagnose the matter and advise whether your warranty covers the repair. Due to the very technical nature of vehicle operations, it is not possible to provide a diagnosis and advise on the necessary repairs without seeing the vehicle. Your Geely Authorised Dealer will be happy to explain what action is required and will seek help from the Geely team when needed.

If the failure is determined to be as a result of a defect in factory materials or workmanship, this will be covered under the terms of the Geely New Vehicle Warranty.
